Hi, I'm Rachel Mayew, a Holistic Wellness & Nutrition Coach, Clinical Herbalist and Flower Essence Practitioner. My online wellness practice, Well Rooted, is based in Niceville, FL.I know how helpful just the right resources and relationships can be. They're not only important at the beginning of your health journey, but are also vital if you're going to develop an ongoing rhythm of motivation and endurance. That's because your healthy journey is ongoing and ever evolving in each of life's seasons.For the majority of my clients, finding what works for them, means tracing their current health situation back to the roots of what has always been nurturing to us as humans. Once the gaps have been identified, we work together to access a sense of readiness, willingness, ability, safety and deservedness to restart their health journey!To best achieve that holistic balance, we'll go deep right off the bat by reviewing your intake form and the results of any recent bloodwork you feel is pertinent. As we discuss those findings, we'll also look at ways to support your health goals through nutrition, herbs, supplements, and lifestyle modifications to strengthen your spiritual, emotional, environmental, and relational wellness.There aren't many people who don't have at least a few ideas of what they could do to improve their life and start feeling better. But for loads of truly legitimate reasons, it can feel near impossible to get started. Working within my holistic approach provides you with keys to unlock the motivation, make life-giving changes and continue with the endurance needed to make those changes stick!

Comprehensive Assessment
A comprehensive assessment of your medical history, recent lab work, current health status, and the aspects of life affecting your health goals allows for individualized care.
Herbs
As a trained Clinical Herbalist, I will identify the phytonutrient-dense herbs that are best matched to your individual constitution, your mental and physical health concerns and their root cause. To ensure safety, I personally review each herb against any other herbs, medications or supplements you're currently taking, and take into account your current health condition and any acute or chronic disease.
Nutrition
Our relationship with food is often built upon a complicated mix of messages from our culture, society, family, and social circles which eventually become a deep rooted and relentless inner dialogue. With an educational background in nutrition and anatomy, I'll help you understand the needs of your body at a cellular level. This process isn't about strict rules or sudden overhauls. Taking it at a comfortable pace is key for creating a long and happy life. Learning to support your body through nutrition helps you turn down the noise of diet culture and elevate compassionate and loving self-care through delicious food.
Flower Essences
Flower Essences are a form energetic medicine that gently address emotions, thoughts, and behavior.
When it comes to personal development and adopting new habits, there are often inhibitory generational patterns and trapped emotions that keep a person feeling unworthy or unprepared for health, goodness, and success. In those cases, Flower Essences and other forms of energy release help reset a right relationship with the positive aspects of wellness.
